data file with more than two channels of data, or if the Prompt on Import
item on the overlays menu is checked. It displays the data
channels available in the file, and the range of each. For some
sources a possible name is displayed.
Each channel has an entry in the grid, with the
minimum and maximum values displayed. To use each channel select one
sets all unselected channels to "Intensity".
