Note that this contains some minor changes to the formally released version 10 .1.180, to fix some minor user interface issues: Fixed Problems in 10.1.183 (Change to source only - executable version numbers not changed): - PgopherU.manifest missing from source zip file. Fixed Problems in 10.1.182: - Fix for crash following creation of a Variables object in the Overlays Window. - Fix for Unicode enabled windows versions only to handle display scaling. The available files are listed below. Note that the data files are interchangeable between versions. readme.htm/readme.txt - this file Windows: Pgopher.exe - 32 bit version; should run on any PC PgopherU64.exe - 64 bit unicode version; requires a 64 bit version of windows. This can handle larger problems, but for most use cases will be no different to the 32 bit version. pgopher.chm - the windows help file. TabSlaveU.exe - a simple text editor optimized for use with PGOPHER, the TabSlave Editor. This is the unicode version that can handle characters outside the ASCII standard A-Z range. tabslave.exe - an earlier version of the above that is restricted to ASCII text. The commandline directory contains command line versions of PGOPHER. Linux: pgopher-x86_64-linux-gtk2.tgz - executables (Graphical and command line version of PGOPHER and the TabSlave Editor) for 64 bit x86 machines. This is the recommended version. If you are using a 32 bit system, or the above doesn't run (typically with an error message about GLIBC) try the files in the epel directory which are compiled with an older Linux version (RHEL 6): epel/pgopher-i386-epel-gtk2.tgz for 32 bit x86 machines. epel/pgopher-x86_64-epel-6-gtk2.tgz for 64 bit x86 machines. Apple Mac: pgopher-MacOSX-i386-carbon.app.zip - PGOPHER compiled for OS X Leopard (10.5) and above. command line version is included in this zip file tabslave-MacOSX-i386-carbon.app.zip - a simple text editor optimized for use with PGOPHER, the TabSlave Editor. Source Code and Documentation: pgopher_source_v10.1.183.zip - the source code for the program pgopher_help_v10.1.183.zip - all the online help in html format.
