Asymmetric Top Transition Moments
The following types of transition moments are currently implemented
for asymmetric tops:
- Cartesian -
conventional a, b or c electric dipole moment components.
- Spherical - electric
dipole moment in
spherical tensor form, appropriate for multiphoton or Raman transitions.
- Orbital -
the magnetic moment from electron spin, which includes residual orbital
angular momentum.
- Rotational
- the magnetic moment from molecular rotation
- Nuclear - the magnetic
moment of
a
nucleus
