Linear Molecule Transition Moments
The
following types of transition moments are currently implemented
for linear molecules:
- Spherical - electric
dipole moment in
spherical tensor form allowing its use for multiphoton and Raman
transitions in addition to normal one photon transitions.
- Spin - the magnetic moment
from electron spin.
- Orbital -
the magnetic moment from electron orbital motion.
- Rotational
- the magnetic moment from molecular rotation
- Nuclear - the magnetic
moment of
a
nucleus
