State

This section describes the type of state, including symmetry, and the parameters of the state. Most settings are molecule specific; see the sections for linear, symmetric top,  asymmetric top and vibrating molecules, but the settings listed below are common to all states.

Settings

Colour Colour - set to "None" to take value from elsewhere as explained in Determining Colours and J ranges.
RveSelect Only include given rovibronic symmetry - for normal use set to 'all'
S Electron Spin

Parameters

Origin State Origin.
Width Linewidth (rotation independent) for state; see Widths and Lifetime Effects for how to use this.
